Interpreting Bar Graphs

We have also been creating bar graphs using Excel and making statements about them. This data is also from the Census data for Howick, where we live.
This shows information about the ways people communicate with each other.
483 more people had cell phones than internet.
Most people use the telephone.
There were less people with no phones than with phones.
Cell phones and internet had similar numbers of people.
270 people had other forms of communication.
What do you think that the other forms of communication might be?

  1. Awesome work Room 14. I really enjoyed reading your data on the graphs. You have made very interesting comments about the information. You might like to visit our class blog to look at what Year 3's have been doing with statistics. I liked learning about my area. Well done.

  2. Wow! Room 14 that sounds great. I wish I could do graphs like that. I never knew so many people use telephones so much to communicate so much with other people.BP
